Abstract submission guidelines

Abstracts must be submitted online, using the ABSTRACT SUBMISSION button on this page, which brings you to an online submission form.

Following the creation of a new account as presenter, you will be forwarded to an online form to complete your contact details. Then you will be guided through the process of submitting your abstract by entering title and preferred type of presentation, authors and their affiliations as well as the body of the abstract.

Abstracts must be written in English, should be structured in: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusions and should not contain more than 400 words (excluding title and contact information).

It is the author’s responsibility to submit a correct abstract; any errors in spelling, grammar or scientific facts will be reproduced as typed by the author, if accepted.

Each abstract will be reviewed independently by at least two members of the Scientific Committee, which decides on acceptance and the type of presentation.

The presenting author will receive all correspondence concerning the abstract and is responsible for informing co-authors of the status of the submission.

Accepted abstracts will be electronically available for all Congress participants, on condition that the presenting author is registered for the congress and has paid the registration fee.

Together with the confirmation of abstract acceptance, authors will be asked to confirm their attendance by registering online. All presenting authors (oral and poster presenters) must register as participants latest by 30. June 2018 to ensure inclusion of their abstracts in the programme.
